About the Event

Mindful meditations help raise our vibration of positive mind attitude. It is a time to silence the mind and engage with the heart, allowing the practitioner to connect internally on a deeper level. When mindful meditation is practiced consistently, a feeling of peace is experienced on a daily basis. Everyday life feels lighter and there is a sense of ease with all that surrounds us.

This class involves sitting and can be either in a chair or a cushion. Comfortable clothing is encouraged.

Join us for 6 weeks of morning meditations starting Tuesday 23rd, 6.45-7.45am. Finish date: 30 March

Cost: $60 for six sessions

About Maria:

Maria came from an extensive background in dance and discovered yoga and meditation 17 years ago.

Her passion for yoga grew over the years and has been teaching yoga and meditation around the globe for the last six years, including retreats in Cambodia and Bali.

'I teach with the elemental purpose to breathe in to the body. The word yoga means union or to join. When correct breathwork is applied in asana and meditation practice, a deep connect of body, heart, mind and spirit is achieved'.

'My students inspire me and it is a pleasure to journey through many different types of yoga experiences together.'

Types of yoga available:

Vinyasa (uplifting), Yin (deep stretch), Restorative (relaxation), Yoga nidra (yogic sleep)

Other healing modalities available:

Reiki, Sound healing, and a variety of self-healing meditations
