'Framing the Future' with Dewsy

Chris Dews aka 'Dewsy' is a local artist with a vision to revitalise Auckland in more ways that one. Using his talent for oil painting, Chris Dews' work has already inspired many to imagine a brighter future earning plenty of media coverage with his stunning vistas of Auckland. Bursting with beautiful vegetation, tree integrated cafes and restaurants, urban farms and free and fun transport alternatives, his  creative images are all part of inspiring Aucklanders to work together on averting climate change, provide pathways of healing from poverty and homelessness and improve the well-being of our entire city community. Dewsy's letter to Mayor Phil Goff and speech to Auckland Council Planning Committee.

The Aaiotanga Trust is collaborating with Chris by sponsoring open community workshops so others can join the conversation on how to make Auckland thrive as a city and bring their visions to life.
